Whoopi Weepy Over Montage Diss

It's not quite as glaring as Brad Renfro's omission from the in memoriam montage, but Whoopi Goldberg got teary this morning on "The View" over getting left off the Oscar-host clip reel -- even though she's hosted four times.

Barbara Walters wondered if she was left out because she was included in an Oscar-winner's reel, and pointed out that Steve Martin was also left out. But the waterworks started when she thanked the rest of the "View" crew for "making up" for the diss.

31. So what is the big deal Ellen Degeneras was left out also. why is it about a racial thing? If she were not black no one would even be bringing it up.

37. Leave it to Goldberg to always move any discussion to "what color are you"? And whats with her collecting all those Colored signs from the Jim Crow days? Why she got a fixation on a period of time that no one should remind themselves of?

Cant wait till Obama is President and all this color stuff will stop---because anyone who cares to whine, no matter their color wont have a leg to stand on, not when the President of the United States, the top job in the world is held by a man of color. We all can get there too, by going to school, doing our homework and showing up to work on time and behaving.

No more whining by anyone of any color when President Obama is in charge

39. Hey great point #37--never thought of it that way. I stand CORRECTED #32. Ellen was shown vacuuming the floor. I forgot about that. Oh well I am sure others were also left out. In this day and age they should have made it a point to include her. They really should have.

45. The worst Oscar show ever!
I agree with several informed bloggers....it is such a shame you were overlooked. You have accomplished alot for a woman of color and you can certainly hold your head up. Please excuse the lame excuse of human beings writing on this website that have no life and wouldn't know a accomplished person if they jumped up and bit their ass. After watching last night they definitely need to bring you back or Ellen DeGeneres......what a bore last night was and the movies sucked!
